Rock's Wi-fi Service was launched on 29th February 2008

Rock's is pleased to announce that we are trialling a wireless Internet service on our premises, in association with the St Neots Website (www.st-neots.co.uk) and the Fon Network.

This Service operates in two modes, Free and Pay.  The Pay Service is just £3 for a full day.

How to connect

Use any wi-fi compatible device (phone, laptop etc) to scan for wireless networks.  Connect to FON-ST-NEOTS.CO.UK - there is no password.

Once connected, if you try to browse to any website, you will be shown a portal page provided by Fon. 

Pay Service

To have unrestricted access to the Internet, you can purchase a Fon Day Pass for £3.00 per day. This requires a simple registration form, and uses PayPal to process your payment. PayPal accept all major credit cards.  For a simple tutorial on how to get your Fon Day Pass please click here.

Free Service

Once connected, anybody can access the St Neots Town website for free. The link to do this is located within the portal page mentioned above (about halfway down the page, on the right)

At the time of writing Fon are also offering a 15 minutes per day free service to any site.  You still need to register a Fon account to do this, and you will probably need to watch an advert to get your free 15 minutes.

Terms

We ask that customers on our premises mute the volume of their wireless devices out of consideration of other patrons.

The wi-fi service is only for use on our premises for people who are ordering food or drink. If you are not ordering food or drink you may be asked to use the service outside our premises.

Any prices quoted on this page are correct as far as we know, but are subject to change and outside of our control. You should check the current price at the point of paying.

Rock's make no guarantee of the availability of the wi-fi service.

If there is a technical problem, we are sorry, but our staff will not be able to help you to resolve it.

By using this service you understand that you are entering into an agreement with the Fon Network, and that you must abide by their terms and conditions. Rock's takes no responsibility for any data loss or problems you may encounter when using this service.
